At the height of Coronavirus disease in the country, Metro Manila and nearby provinces were hit the hardest and thousands of residents were left beseeching for help. Not only did jobs take a staggering loss, numerous businesses were also forced to shut down to avoid total financial collapse.
As the region with the highest number of Covid-19 cases, NCR particularly its densely populated cities such as Manila and Quezon City could not have survived the onslaught of pandemic without the immediate assistance from various NGOs and private entities.
Lead by its CEO-President Mr. Rafael-Javier Eubra, Asia Pacific Renewable Energy Solutions (APRES) Inc. wasted no time in taking the initiative to extend help when it matters the most. In April 2020, just a few weeks after the implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in NCR and neighboring provinces, APRES Inc. donated substantial number of food packages to the local government of Quezon city – Metro Manila’s most populous city.
Such assistance was intended to at least alleviate the harrowing condition of families who could not go out to buy food and other necessities due to suspension of public transportation. Indeed, in times of crisis, no help is too big or too small especially when it’s intended for our fellow Filipinos who need it the most.
Now that we are gradually transitioning into the new normal, and as we continue to revive the economy, it is invaluable that we remain committed to our vision of creating a legacy for future generations.
